These Terms of Service govern your purchase of passes, performer applications, website usage, and physical attendance at JAM NIGHTS ("the Event"), organized by the Jam Nights team ("we", "us", or "our"). By registering on this platform or attending the venue, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms in full.
1. Registration, Pass Limits & Admission
To maintain an intimate acoustic atmosphere and adhere to fire safety standards, venue capacity is strictly limited:
- Capacity Limits: Audience attendance is capped at 30 passes. Stage performances are capped at 20 slots.
- Payment & UTR Verification: Passes are secured only after payment via UPI and verification of the 12-digit Bank Transaction ID / UTR number. Submitting fraudulent, reused, or falsified transaction IDs will result in immediate disqualification and permanent blacklisting.
- Right of Admission: Possession of a digital pass token does not grant unconditional entry. Organizers reserve the absolute right to refuse entry to anyone who violates venue security or arrives under the influence of alcohol or prohibited substances.
2. Code of Conduct & Stage Discipline
Jam Nights is a respectful, community-first creative space. All attendees and performers agree to the following standards:
- Respect & Inclusion: We enforce zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, hate speech, abusive language, or disruptive behavior.
- Substance-Free Zone: Smoking in non-designated areas, consumption of alcohol, and possession of illegal narcotics are strictly prohibited inside the premises. Violators will be immediately removed and reported to local authorities.
- Performer Punctuality: Performers must check in with the stage manager at least 45 minutes prior to show commencement for sound checks. Slot sequences and time allocations are determined at the sole discretion of the stage team.
3. Photography, Recording & Promotional Release
By attending or performing at the event, you acknowledge that authorized photographers and videographers will document the evening. You grant Jam Nights a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use captured photographs, audio, and video recordings for official archival, social media, and promotional purposes.
Performers retain 100% of their underlying songwriting, lyrical, and musical intellectual property rights.
4. Limitation of Financial Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, Jam Nights, its organizers, volunteers, sound engineers, and venue partners shall not be held liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential financial losses, including travel tickets, hotel reservations, or fuel expenses.
- Loss, theft, or damage to personal musical instruments, sound equipment, cameras, or belongings brought into the venue.
- Disruptions caused by third-party UPI banking applications, network failures, or telecommunications outages.
In any circumstance where liability is established by a competent court of law, our aggregate liability is strictly limited to the actual pass registration fee received from you (₹149 for audience, ₹699 for performers).
5. Postponement & Force Majeure
In the event of severe weather, civil restrictions, power blackouts, civic directives, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, the event may be rescheduled. In such an event, confirmed passes will remain fully valid for the newly announced date.
6. Governing Law & Exclusive Jurisdiction
These Terms and all matters arising out of or related to Jam Nights shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.
You agree that any claim, legal proceeding, or dispute arising under these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the competent civil courts located in Pimpri-Chinchwad / Pune District, Maharashtra, India. Both parties submit to the exclusive territorial jurisdiction of these courts.
